What's welding got to do with Polka Dots?...

The Wayne County CEO Class had the pleasure of visiting with Tammy Lee, owner and operator of Junkyard Art by Tam-I-Am. This unique business is a hidden treasure in our local county. Tammy spent time talking with the team about how she took an interest in learning a new craft, turned it into a passion, utilized social media and her business blossomed. Tammy explained that once she understood the importance of #'s, or hashtags to those of us believing this is symbol for "number", as well as posting videos... your business can explode! Tammy also talked "branding"... her signature polka dots, and how you can become recognizable with a logo or sleek design feature. She also advised the group on the importance of writing and grammar skills when communicating with customers and posting on social media.

We got an inside look at her workshop and "gallery" as well as insight into her creative eye for what is "one man's junk... is Tammy's treasure!"

Thank you Tammy!
