On Tuesday, October 22, Wayne County CEO students visited with Samantha Youngblood, Owner & Operator of Youngblood Travel. Samantha gave the team a inside look at her start up during a pandemic lockdown! Literally! She launched her Facebook page just after Valentines Day, 2020 and then the world shut down... especially travel.

She explained to the team how her business operation works and each year, she is gaining more and more profit. She also spoke about the importance of remembering that as a small business owner/operator, particularly in smaller communities... your best promotion is yourself... you are quite literally a walking billboard. She is mindful of how she presents herself in even the most mundane errands as well as when interacting with the public.

Thank you Samantha for taking time to visit with our team! We wish you continued success in 2025 and beyond!
