We visited Cider Barn Tree Farm and Ice Skating Rink south of Fairfield on Thursday, October 10th. What a lovely time we had visiting with owner/operator Mindy Koontz Brokaw! Mindy talked with the team about her experience writing her business plan and her experience securing lending to see her vision for the property realized. She also shared her vision for continuing to add programs and opportunities. The Tree Farm sits on the land Mindy grew up on. She shared that some of her sweetest memories are from spending time with family fishing in the pond and enjoying the peaceful and serene atmosphere of the acreage and country living. Mindy provided breakfast goodies and coffee while we chatted about the facility before going out to meet the deer.
