Wayne County CEO Students kicked off this week speaking with Tyler Lampley, Fairfield small business owner and former Fairfield City Counsel member. During his time on the city counsel, Tyler spent many hours understanding TIF and working to establish the Fairfield Business district. He informed students how these two programs encourage small business development and redevelopment within the city of Fairfield. He also explained the "business" of running a municipality and how programs and services are subsidized through local sales and property taxes. We thank Tyler for sharing his expertise with students!
