Students in the Wayne County CEO Program had the opportunity to learn about hiring and managing employees from Kari Book, FNB Community Bank Human Resources Manager.

Students learned about the importance of following government regulations as business owners regarding fair hiring practices as well as important clues and insights into an individuals work ethic, time management skills, attention to detail when looking at resumes and during the interview process. Students also had the opportunity to learn about the importance of delegating work and authority to employees and addressing unacceptable behavior in the workplace.
