Yesterday, Friday, 12/13, the Wayne County CEO group had the unique opportunity to attend the area chamber of commerce directors meeting hosted by Jessica Gwaltney, President of the Albion Area Chamber of Commerce at the Brick Street Inn AirBnb.

We had a blast! Students met chamber directors from Albion, Wabash County, Lawrence County, Richland County, Crawford County as well as representatives from the Albion Chamber of Commerce. Students got to observe planning discussions for the upcoming Women’s Conference at Willow Creek in Fairfield on April 11th, 2025 as well as had conversations with individual directors about their personal business plans and incorporating various social media platforms for marketing… and heard struggles that directors experience when working with the public.

The food was fantastic and the company couldn’t have been more fun. We felt like family when we left! Thank you to Libby Lingafelter of the Fairfield Chamber for including us!
