Wayne County CEO Students had the chance to meet with leaders and administrators at Wayne White Electric Co-Op yesterday, December 4th. CEO, Chris Hopfinger met with students and explained the business model of the Cooperative and explained his role as Chief Executive Officer and what it's like to work with a board of directors to provide electricity in a cost effective manner. He also explained their commitment to the various communities in which they serve customers. Alyssa Parrot, Communications Director and Chris Simpson, Member Services Director served as tour guides through the various departments. Students also chatted with the engineers and learned how communications technology and logistics has greatly enhanced their ability to detect and fix power outages as quickly as possible... even on the wee hours of the morning!

This year's class, sponsored by Keys Real Estate, appreciated the opportunity to learn more about their business and how Alyssa approaches her role in communications and marketing.
