Lions and Tigers and Mama Bear's...Oh My!

The Wayne County CEO Class, sponsored this year by Keys Real Estate, met with Program Investors, Chad and Melissa Musgrave, owners & operators of Mama Bear's 4 Seasons Crafts & More. This unique shop located in downtown Fairfield has so much to offer! They sell Simply Southern brand clothing, shoes and personal items, as well as a wide variety of gifts for any occasion and celebration, jewelry, baby items and clothing as well as unique personalized engraved gifts. They also offer The Teddy Mountain DIY Plush Animal experience.

Students got a chance to learn about how the Musgraves started their business, in September of 2019. They shared their experience during the CoVid lockdowns and how helpful other small business owners in the community were. Many displays and retail offerings in the store were given, passed along or sold heavily discounted to the Musgraves as they got their business off the ground.

Chad shared his educational and professional background in accounting and how that has helped him in the small business industry and allowed Melissa to pursue her passion for retail and creative gift arrangements and bouquets.
